Reporting a Player

Golf is an honourable sport played between ladies and gentlemen in accordance with the international R&A (The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews) rules. Golfers follow these rules out of respect for the game, their fellow international golfers and most importantly themselves. Cheating is frowned upon on and off the golf course, before, during and after the game.

Reporting Procedure

1TGOLF National Challenge players can report another player for investigation via direct email to report@1tgolf.com and must include the following information;

  1. the player being reported
  2. the round(s) being reported
  3. one of the following reporting reasons with motivation
    • Club / Social Reason | The reporting player knows the player being reported due to them being members at the same club or plays in the same social group(s). Due to this close proximity between the players a player can report another player for a variety of reasons such as being absent at a club or social golf event yet still entered round(s) on HNA.
    • Golf Course Reason | A player can report another player for entering round(s) on HNA for date(s) that they knew the golf course cancelled play on those date(s) for a variety of reasons such as a specific golf course is always closed on Monday(s) yet the player entered round(s) on HNA for Monday(s). Other reasons may include but are not limited to; bad weather, flooding, competition or corporate golf day(s), members only golf courses and so on.
    • Rational / Logical Reason | A player can report another player where they find an irrational or illogical pattern to rounds captured by a player on HNA for a variety of reasons such as the player could not travel between golf courses on the same day and play two rounds of golf on two different golf course due to the geographical distance between the golf courses not allowing sufficient time even with the use of a Helicopter for transport. Other reasons may include but are not limited to; no change in handicap as an increase in golf rounds will result in an improvement of scores and handicap and so on.
    • Financial Reason | A player can report another player where they find a financial improbability in the pattern of rounds captured by a player on HNA for a variety of reasons such as a player would pay an average of R500 per round of golf in direct and in-direct expenses. If a player averages 10 rounds of golf a month they expense an average of R5k per month on golf totalling R60k per year. When the formula is applied to the rounds captured by a player on HNA it can bring to question the how and why. THE HOW: It is not uncommon for golfers to play golf daily at their club where they have unlimited golf membership packages. It is uncommon for a golfer to play golf daily at different golf courses in different regions that require travel, accommodation, toll fees and other expenses not calculated into the average R500 per round of golf. THE WHY: It must be accepted that there are golfers with the financial means to travel, stay and play golf courses across South Africa and to them being on top and winning the 1TGOLF National Challenge is a prestigious goal and the R10k TheProShop Voucher has no meaning or value and should rather be replaced with a trophy and certificate for their display.
    • Other Reason | A player can report another player with an other reason not clearly categorised in the aforementioned reasons.
  4. any evidence material to support the case

 About Us
1TGOLF (pronounced one - tee - golf) is a National Golf Challenge, it is about that "one more tee" feeling golfers get after playing a good round of golf, playing an amazing golf shot, scoring an eagle, birdie, par or even after going down in a blaze of bogeys. We all have that hunger too tee up just one more.

The core of the 1TGOLF Challenge is to have golfers compete through their love for the golf. The act of playing golf is rewarded using a point system to challenge golfers to tee up and support more golf courses in South Africa.

1TGOLF is managed and powered by MYCITO.
